Surface Pro X gets firmware update with long changelog but few changes

What you need to know

  • Microsoft's Surface Pro X has a new firmware update available.
  • The update has a lengthy changelog of stability improvements.
  • Surface Pro X SQ2 and SQ1 devices have now merged support in several areas.

All of the changes are under the Microsoft Corporation - System Hardware Update section. Several of the changes list "merges support for both Surface Pro X SQ1 and SQ2 devices" as one of their changes.
