What I really want is that keyboard for my Surface Pro 7 or Surface Go. Yes, so I have a good place to store/charge a pen.
-
Surface Pro X was released in 2019..we're in 2021 and it's still receiving updates, which is great. I wonder how much longer could Microsoft have Qualcomm release driver updates for the chipset (i.e. not limit support to 2-3 years like on Android).
-
And so it should receive updates for the life of the product considering the inflated price MS asks for Surface products.
-
I'd expect the same as well. But that "inflated" price is for the premium support that you would get only from Microsoft, because they keep supporting their devices for years past their original release date, unlike most laptop manufacturers who after a year or two abandon their devices for the most part.
