Windows Central's top 5 videos in 2014

Happy New Year! It's time to start writing that number 5 instead of 4 when filling out paperwork. But before we move on, let's take a look at Windows Central's five most viewed videos from 2014. And if you haven't done it yet, make sure to subscribe to our Youtube channel. You get notified whenever a new video gets published and we occasionally put stuff in there that doesn't show up here on the site.

5. Nokia Lumia 1320 unboxing and hands-on

Coming in at about 265,000 views is our hands-on and first impressions on the Nokia Lumia 1320. It's the affordable Lumia phablet, which is a more budget friendly version of the Lumia 1520. It features a 6-inch 720x1280 display with a dual core Snapdragon CPU, 1 GB of RAM, microSD expansion, 3400 mAh battery and a 5 MP camera. Overall, the specifications of the Lumia 1320 are quite solid for a more budget friendly Windows Phone.

4. Nokia Lumia 930 unboxing and hands-on

Next up is our Lumia 930 hands-on video with about 312,000 views. It is the international version of the Lumia Icon released earlier exclusively for Verizon. The Lumia 930 is identical to the Icon in nearly every way except you get you a variety of extra color options with the Lumia 930. It features a 5-inch Full HD display, 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. In the back you have a 20MP PureView camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and ZEISS optics.

3. Windows Phone 8.1 Cortana preview

Our hands-on preview for Cortana on Windows Phone 8.1 comes in with about 320,000 views. This video was fun because we shot it before the official announcement at Build 2014. We were really excited playing with Cortana and knew Windows Phone users were going to love her, too.

2. Surface Pro 3 Review

The second most popular Windows Central video is our Surface Pro 3 review with around 440,000 views. At 1.7 pounds (27.2 ounces), and featuring a 12-inch display, the Surface Pro 3 is an immense tablet by today's standards. However, it is only 9.1mm thin. It features a 12-inch 2160 x 1440 display with a taller aspect ratio at 3:2 compared to previous 16:9 ratio. We have more details in the review, so go watch it along with the written version!

1. Cortana vs. Siri vs. Google Now

Drum roll. The most popular video on Windows Central for 2014 is the epic battle between Cortana, Siri, and Google Now. You've all watched it for a total of 633,000 views! We take all the three voice assistants through some basic tasks. We tried to be fair and give them all a chance to perform and sure enough, they all did. What's the take away? We'll let you decide.
