Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice was one of the most well-received games of 2018, and now Xbox Game Pass subscribers can get in on the action as part of their membership. The game is now available to download through the subscription game service on Xbox One, coming eight months after its initial release for the console.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice was first released on PlayStation 4 and PC in 2017, introducing players to a deeply psychological story and action combat. On Xbox One, the game has been enhanced with dedicated graphical modes for those playing on Xbox One X, including 4K with dynamic scaling, enhanced effects, and a 60 FPS mode.

The game is also available on the Microsoft Store for Windows 10, but there's no support for Xbox Play Anywhere, so you won't be able to share saves across platforms. Included support for Xbox Live achievements will let you add a bit of padding to your gamerscore on PC, however.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice follows the titular Senua as she battles against the forces of hell to rescue the soul of her dead lover. Filled with psychological themes, puzzle elements, and plenty of exploration, the game blurs the line between hallucinations and reality.

If you're an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you can download and jump into Hellblade starting today. Otherwise, you can purchase the game now for $30 (though it's currently discounted to $24 on Xbox One.
