Recently, Microsoft announced a number of new improvements to Xbox Game Pass. Aside from the general availability of the Xbox Game Pass application, the company unveiled some upcoming additions to the catalog. Some blockbusters and smaller experiences are joining the service very soon. However, there are also some unexpected surprises.

During The Game Awards 2018, the company announced that Ashen, Below, and Kingdom: Two Crowns would be joining the service in December. However, there are even more amazing experiences on the way apart from the already-announced Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice for December 17 and Ori and the Blind Forest for December 20.

Life Is Strange, the episode adventure that is now regarded as a modern cult classic joined Xbox Game Pass today. Shadow Warrior 2 and Ori and the Blind Forest were also the latest additions. Between Life Is Strange and Ori and the Blind Forest, the service just got two of the best games of the current generation.

Since the service launched, many gamers have been asking Microsoft how many subscribers it has. While usually the company doesn't comment on sales figures, during an interview between Head of Xbox Phil Spencer and LevelUp, he revealed a general count. There are "millions of subscribers" today. It's great to see that Xbox Game Pass is doing so well. Hopefully the trend will continue in the future as more high-profile titles join the service.
