Today, PUBG Corp. announced that the long-awaited "Miramar" map was finally available for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) on Xbox One. Along with the map comes a variety of new weapons and vehicles. There are also numerous fixes which improve optimization and stability throughout the entire Xbox Game Preview experience.
Miramar, the desert-themed map littered with large, dense towns, rocky hills, and wide open expanses adds an all-new battle royale gameplay scenario. The new map brings with it an assortment of weapons including the R45 revolver, the Win94 lever-action rifle, and the sawed-off shotgun. Lastly, a six-seater van and off-road pickup truck are two vehicles specially designed for desert terrain.
It wouldn't be PUBG without the cosmetics and today players can purchase the coveted Golden Tracksuit. Let's say that yellow isn't your favorite color. In addition to the Golden Tracksuit, the team is releasing the Instructor Set pack which includes an orange shirt, shorts, and camouflage hat. Each pack costs $4.99 on the Microsoft Store.
PUBG is a last-man-standing shooter being developed with the help of community feedback. Starting with absolutely nothing, players must fight to locate weapons and supplies in a battle to be the only one alive. PUBG is a surprisingly realistic and high-tension title set on a massive island. Be sure to check out the game if you like competitive multiplayer experiences.
