Rainbow Six Siege Ember Rise brings Mira Elite skin set

What you need to know

  • Ubisoft has unveiled Operation Ember Rise for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege.
  • Spanish defender Mira receives her first paid Elite skin set under the update.

Ubisoft has unveiled Operation Ember Rise, its latest seasonal update headed to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. Two seasoned Operators lie at the heart of the year's third expansion, bringing new grappling hook capabilities, alongside a deployable shield with a fiery twist. New faces also provide the opportunity to revisit an existing persona, via a long-anticipated Elite skin for Spanish GEO defender, Mira.

Like historical ties of former Rainbow Six Siege Elite sets, Mira's rustic revamp seemingly draws influence from the Spanish Civil War of the 1930s. The "Inspiración" bundle sees a new beret-clad Mira ditching her protective headgear, in period Spanish attire.

Like previous Elite sets, the Mira bundle will likely cost 1,800 R6 Credits – Rainbow Six Siege's premium packs obtainable with real-world money. Year 4 Pass holders will retain their store-wide discount, reducing the price to 1,620 R6 Credits.

The Mira Elite set is scheduled to drop alongside Operation Ember Rise, first hitting the Technical Test Server (TTS) on PC on August 19. With three weeks of testing expected to follow, a full public debut is scheduled for early September 2019.
