This morning, the companies released extended gameplay footage on Xbox One X. The roughly twenty minutes of gameplay showcases the opening chapter and how the children end up going on journey to Mexico. The game looks stunning running on the machine, especially in 4K resolution.

According to Square Enix, in Life Is Strange 2, players will discover a story of two brothers, sixteen-year old Sean and nine-year old Daniel Diaz, who have to flee their Seattle home after a tragic access that changes their lives forever. On the run from the police, Sean makes the difficult decision to take his brother and go to Mexico. Life on the road is dangerous for the two boys and they'll be forced to make some hard-hitting decisions along the way.

Michel Koch, one of Life Is Strange 2's creative directors said, "After the exciting adventures of Max and Chloe, we are extremely happy that you will all soon meet Sean and Daniel Diaz, our new protagonists, and follow them on their journey. We love diving back into the Life Os Strange universe along with our lead writer... to create our new story and characters."
