We're back with another exciting episode of the Windows Central Podcast, and this week, Zac Bowden and Daniel Rubino look at a rumored ARM variant for Microsoft's next Surface Pro running a Snapdragon 8cx, codenamed Excalibur. They also discuss a host of other hardware and software rumors, including the possibility of running Android apps on 'Windows Lite' based devices, including Surface 'Centaurus'.

There are some new features for OneDrive users, and Cortana Beta is in the Microsoft Store. Finally Bill Gates sees losing the mobile race to Android as his greatest mistake.

  • Gates got it only partially right. Yes, MS missed the mobile bandwagon but the bigger mistake was appointing a fellow, Nadella, who rolled over and surrendered before he even considered fighting for that market. You can't complain about losing a market when you didn't even enter the fight.
  • I'm very interested in Surface earbuds... but it is hard to see them doing better than the Jabra 65 series for ergonomics, usability, and quality.
  • You still can change the default camera app in Windows Mobile 10. Man, what an awesome platform it is.
