Best Destiny 2: Shadowkeep multiplayer weapons build

Destiny 2 is a first-person shooter from Bungie. Despite receiving mediocre reviews, the original Destiny went on to become one of the best-selling titles on Xbox and PlayStation. Destiny 2 improves upon that formula, and its tale of revenge which includes many lighthearted moments was loved by critics and consumers alike.

Destiny 2 has many modes, but its multiplayer offerings are some of the most rewarding. However, it can be quite challenging to do well when you're competing against other players. Below, I've compiled a list of the best all-around weapons for you to do really well in any given situation.

Scout rifle

We would recommend using the Polaris Lance scout rifle because you can kill enemies with just three headshots. Usually, getting two body shots and a headshot also works. The best part is that every fifth shot causes a massive explosion, so sometimes you end up applying burning damage for a few seconds. Since other players are continuously damaged, you can even see where they're hiding!

This weapon can be found on Mars and is part of a lengthy quest that gives you the Polaris Lance scout rifle and its catalyst.

Submachine gun

Usually in the Crucible, you're either forced to partake in long-range encounters or very close-quarters combat. While the Polaris Lance can help you with the former, the latter is a little challenging. In my opinion, equipping a primary submachine gun is the best solution. My favorites are Hard Truths and Antiope-D. Both fire at an incredibly fast pace, but Antiope-D seems like it's easier to control, thus more accurate.

Hard Truths can be found by redeeming tokens from Lord Shaxx. Antiope-D can be found by redeeming Gunsmith Materials from Banshee-44.

Grenade launcher

This last category varies significantly. In my opinion, going with a grenade launcher — any for that matter — is the right course of action because you get a lot of grenades when you pick up Heavy Ammo. This means that even if you miss a target, you can still fire a few more rounds to make sure they're dead. This allows you to make more mistakes. I've been using Outrageous Fortune and think it's a pretty good option.

Outrageous Fortune can be found by redeeming Gunsmith Materials from Banshee-44.

Hopefully, this guide will help you if you're just starting out in Destiny 2, or haven't played for a while. I consider myself an average player and it has dramatically changed how effective I am in the Crucible.
