Forza Horizon 3 launch events coming to Microsoft Stores and more on Sept. 24

All of the Microsoft Store retail locations in the U.S. will be holding launch events for the upcoming Xbox One and Windows 10 racing game Forza Horizon 3 on Saturday, September 24. Also, a separate event for the game will be held on the same day at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.
Xbox Wire (opens in new tab) states:
Fans are invited to their local Microsoft Store to enjoy snacks, preview the game and the Ultimate Edition and compete in a Forza Motorsport 6 gaming tournament for Xbox prizes – including a free copy of the new Forza Horizon 3. Almost everyone that pre-orders – in-store or online – can enter to win a Polaris RZR XP 1000, as seen in the game, by showing proof of purchase at a Microsoft Store during the event to receive a digital code that will be entered for the sweepstakes. The winner will be chosen and announced via Twitch live from the event at the flagship Microsoft Store located on Fifth Avenue.
The event at LA's Petersen Automotive Museum, from 3-7 p.m. will be even bigger, according to Xbox Wire (opens in new tab):
The event will feature a meet-and-greet with Ken Block, Xbox's Larry Hryb ("Major Nelson"), hundreds of cars on display, free food and giveaways, live music from Peanut Butter Wolf and DJ Flow and the opportunity to go hands-on with Forza Horizon 3 before its September 27 release on Xbox One and Windows 10.
While the event is free to attend, an online RSVP is required beforehand

Quite looking forward to this, I've not really sunk my teeth into an open world driving game since Burnout Paradise and that was pretty fun online. This is probably one game I wouldn't bother buying the season pass for, as far as I know it only unlocks new cars (But there's plenty in the game already) rather than new map areas etc.

Would love to buy this to play over the weekend, but I can't buy the Ultimate Edition just for that hehe, will give me some more time with ReCore anyway! For October I'm torn between Battlefield One and Gears 4....I only barely have time to play one of them in October

I see no listing for this at my local Microsoft Store.
