Fresh firmware updates arrive for the Surface Pro X
Both the original Surface Pro X and models with the SQ2 processor have a new firmware update.
What you need to know
- A new firmware update is available for the Surface Pro X.
- Both the SQ1 and SQ2 models of the Surface Pro X have updates.
- The updates improve stability and fix several bugs.
The Surface Pro X has a new set of firmware updates available. Whether you have a Surface Pro X with an SQ1 processor or the refreshed Surface Pro X with an SQ2 processor, you should see an update for your device. As is normally the case with firmware updates, these updates include bug fixes and improve stability but don't have any new features.
While the original Surface Pro X and the Surface Pro X with the SQ2 processor each have an update available, they have different changelogs with different fixes and improvements.
If you have the Surface Pro X with the SQ1 processor, you'll see these changes:
