The most sadistic Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Dark Ops challenge has been found — you'll likely never be able to complete it
The first person in the world to unlock this Dark Ops Calling Card spent nearly 130 hours doing the challenge, and most players will never get it.

If, over the course of the next year, you were hoping to 100% all of the challenges in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, this Zombies Dark Ops just entered the chat to destroy your dreams.
It was first unlocked by content creator, Dkal, who has been attempting a max round run in Black Ops 7 Zombies since the game launched on November 14.
Dkal was the first player to reach the milestone of Round 999, and with it became the only player in the world to have the Dark Ops Calling Card, The One. That's right, in Black Ops 7, getting a full set of Dark Ops challenges completed involves getting to Round 999 in Zombies.
It also looks like it was a bit of a secret unlock even for Dark Ops. Dkal posted on X about his achievement of winning the race to Round 999, and a response from Treyarch's Lawrence Metten told him to check his Calling Cards.
Upon inspection, and then further clarification from Metten, Treyarch has indeed inserted the ultimate Dark Ops challenge into Black Ops 7.
Yes, we have a Round 999 Dark Ops Challenge in BO7Congrats to @itsDkal for being the first to unlock it👏👏👏 https://t.co/hguJwlEtYNNovember 24, 2025
Reaching Round 999 took Dkal a whopping 128 hours and 40 minutes per the timer on the stream when the feat was achieved. That's almost five and a half days of in-game time (and obviously making use of save and quit!)
The reward is an animated Calling Card that has a counter on ticking over from 998 to 999. Whether you like it or not, it's just become the rarest in the game. It's also the first of its kind, not having been in previous games.
All the latest news, reviews, and guides for Windows and Xbox diehards.
The sheer time needed to complete this challenge, as well as actually having the ability to not only get through it — but not go completely insane in the process — means for the average player, this one will be completely out of reach.
There's a subset of Call of Duty players that specifically go after challenges. Their mission is to 100% each mode of the game, and get all the Dark Ops Calling Cards for each mode.
All of those people just collectively wept. There are some hard challenges, I mean, getting 1,000,000 Zombies kills is no small feat. But this, this is on another level.
Kudos to Treyarch for actually awarding this mad feat for those brave enough to take it on. Personally, I think I'll pass!
