Fallout Pip-Boy Xbox controllers: Release date and price

The Fallout Pip-Boy Xbox controllers are essentially Xbox Wireless Controllers and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Controllers outfitted with metallic triggers and a metallic D-Pad.

They also feature a shell casing inspired by the health status screen you see when within the Pip-Boy, an iconic device from the Fallout franchise that players use to track their health, inventory, maps, quest objectives, and turn on the radio to drown the silence of the post-apocalyptic wasteland.

Aside from that, they function identically to the regular Xbox Wireless and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 controllers, complete with the same high-quality controls, ergonomics, and build quality that earned them their top spots in our best Xbox controllers list.

In addition, the Fallout Pip-Boy Xbox controllers feature their regular counterparts' Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth connectivity so they can pair up with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, iOS, Android, and Cloud device platforms.

Plus, they have dedicated share buttons so you can capture screenshots and record gameplay clips.

There are currently three versions of the Pipboy controller:

1. Standard Xbox wireless edition for $82.97 from the Microsoft Store

2. Standard but customizable from the Xbox Design Lab starting at $88.96

3. Elite and customizable, also from the Xbox Design Lab, starting at $179.07

To make things a bit more confusing, Microsoft has some lower prices listed for the Xbox Design Labs version, but the prices we have above and below are what's actually reflected in your cart during checkout.

Do note that these are PREORDERS with controllers shipping on December 16, 2025, at 12:00 AM.
