Xbox library and games not showing up? — You're not alone, and Xbox Support is investigating the problem.
Some Xbox players are reporting being unable to see games across the online store, and Xbox Support is investigating.
If you've logged on to check your Xbox game library and are running into issues, you're not alone. Xbox Support confirmed on Friday via X (formerly Twitter) that a technical issue is affecting some players, keeping those users from seeing their games.
Specifically, this error is causing players to be unable to see anything in the "Ready to Install" section, meaning it's affecting anyone who wants to download a game. Problems are also being reported for anyone browsing games in the store, as well as issues with seeing games that are a part of Xbox Game Pass.
While some players first started reporting problems as early as 9:00 a.m. ET, Xbox has officially begun investigating the problem as of noon. There is no resolution right now, though any updates will be shared through the Xbox Support status page.
Right now, it's not clear exactly how widespread this issue is. At the time I'm writing this article, I'm still able to see my games (both the ones I own and the ones I have installed via Xbox Game Pass) on both my Xbox Series X and my Windows 11 PC.
I've also continued to browse and use the Xbox store without any noticeable problems. I even bought Konami and Bloober Team's Silent Hill 2 remake (which is now out on Xbox, with Xbox Play Anywhere support) shortly before this issue was being widely reported, and things have updated across my console and PC with no problems.
So, if you aren't being affected right now, it's possible this issue could pass you by entirely. If not, hang in there, and I'll be sure to provide an update when this problem is reported as fixed.
