Microsoft announces Night Ops Camo and Sport Blue Xbox One controllers at Gamescom 2019
Two fresh Xbox One controller colorways debut later this year.

What you need to know
- Microsoft just announced two new special edition Xbox One controllers.
- The Night Ops Camo features an urban military pattern.
- The Sport Blue stands out with its dark and light blue contrast.
- You can preorder both through the Microsoft Store (opens in new tab) for $70.
Instead of focusing on many special edition consoles like Sony, Microsoft has instead been putting out a lot of amazing Xbox Wireless Controllers. Not only are they comfortable to hold, but they look like a million bucks. At Gamescom 2019, the company unveiled two more. The Night Ops Camo Special Edition and the Sport Blue Special Edition should entice any collectors out there.
Night Ops Camo Special Edition
The Xbox Wireless Controller: Night Ops Camo Special Edition is the first in a brand-new series of controllers and Microsoft's take on a pattern that is classic and iconic. The dark palette of black, grey, and warm metallic gold on a slightly textured body gives the Night Ops Camo Special Edition a rugged and urban street vibe.
You can preorder one right now or pick it up on October 8 for $70.
Play in style
If you're a member of the military or like military-themed peripherals, be sure to check out the Night Ops Camo Xbox One controller because it looks incredible.
Sport Blue Special Edition
Inspired by sports lifestyle, activewear, and pop culture, the Xbox Wireless Controller: Sport Blue Special Edition is the third installment in the Sport Series. Like its predecessors, the Sport White Special Edition and Sport Red Special Edition, the Sport Blue Special Edition features a geometric design with eye-catching metallic accents and a metallic D-Pad.
You can preorder one right now or pick it up on September 17 for $70.
Check out the different shades
The Sport Blue Xbox One controller is one of the best-looking models Microsoft has made because the light blue accents help different parts to stand out.
If you like keeping your controllers on charging stands, we have great news. Microsoft also revealed that Controller Gear would release a Night Ops Camo Charging Stand (opens in new tab) and Sport Blue Charging Stand (opens in new tab). Both launch the same day as their respective controllers, and cost $50.
