PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) Miramar map hits Xbox One this month

Microsoft has announced a new update on the horizon for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) on Xbox One, bringing the highly anticipated "Miramar" map to the console. Following several weeks of trial sessions through the Test Server, the map is now ready to make its debut on the Xbox Game Preview client.

Miramar is currently expected to release on Xbox One via an update on May 24, 2018. Following its PC release last year, the map offers the first new locale for console players. The expansive desert offers a significant shift from the previous rural design of Erangel, with a blend of sandy plains, towering rock formations, and urban settlements.

The introduction of Miramar follows a string of updates, first outlined in the official Xbox One roadmap. The game's developer continues to deliver new features, changes, and performance enhancements, improving the overall experience on the console.

PUBG is currently available for $29.99 on Xbox One, with enhancements for Xbox One X.
