What you need to know

  • Team Liquid and Secretlab are teaming up to host a 24-hour charity stream in support of Make-A-Wish.
  • The stream will see Team Liquid members playing games to raise money to help kids with critical illnesses.
  • The stream kicks off on May 22 at 12 pm PT / 3 pm ET on Twitch.

Gaming chair maker Secretlab is joining up with esports team Team Liquid to raise money for the Make-A-Wish foundation. The partnership will see Team Liquid hosting a 24-hour live stream starting on May 22. Additionally, Secretlab says that part of the proceeds from every Team Liquid Edition chair sold will be donated to Make-A-Wish.

"Secretlab will support Make-A-Wish® in its drive to grant the wish of every eligible child, infusing happiness and cheer into the lives of wish children, inspiring them to fight even harder. The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in many wishes being postponed, and this partnership will ensure that some wish children still continue to have something to look forward to and see their most cherished wishes fulfilled."

Dubbed the "CHAIR-ity stream," the event will feature Team Liquid personalities like Nicholas "nitr0" Cannella, Juan "Hungrybox" Debiedma, and Steve "LiQuiD112" Arhancet. Wish children will also get an opportunity to participate in the stream with their favorite Team Liquid members.

The live stream begins on May 22 at 12 pm PT / 3 pm ET and will run for 24 hours. You can follow along at Team Liquid's Twitch channel.
