Telegram Messenger for Windows Phone and Windows desktop have both been updated with the ability to edit messages up to two days after they have been sent, among other new features.
Here's what's new in the 1.25 version of Telegram Messenger for Windows Phone (via Reddit):
- Edit your messages everywhere within 2 days after posting.
- Mention people in groups by typing @ and selecting them from the list — even if they don't have a username.
- Get to your friends faster with the new People list in Search.
- Find inline bot shortcuts in the attachment menu.
Here's what users of the desktop version can expect from the 0.9.49 update:
- Edit your messages everywhere within 2 days after posting (press the up arrow button to edit your last message)
- Mention people in groups by typing @ and selecting them from the list — even if they don't have a username
