What is the Minecraft PC Bundle?

Best answer: The Minecraft PC Bundle is a bundle of the Java Edition and Bedrock Edition of Minecraft in the Minecraft Launcher that will be available to Xbox Game Pass for PC subscribers on Nov. 2, 2021. The bundle will fully launch and become available to all PC players in 2022.

What is the Minecraft PC Bundle?

There are some fairly large differences between the Java and Bedrock Editions of Minecraft, so the fact that PC players won't have to choose between the two will be welcomed by many. Java Edition allows players to use custom pieces of content like the best Minecraft mods and the best Minecraft shaders, while Bedrock Edition has better overall stability and provides access to Minecraft with RTX as well as cross-play functionality with Xbox players.

When is the Minecraft PC Bundle release date?

The Minecraft PC Bundle will first be available for Xbox Game Pass for PC subscribers starting on Nov. 2. Then, the bundle will fully launch and become available as a standalone purchase for all PC players at some point in 2022 (Mojang hasn't provided any specific dates yet). Note that players who already own one edition of the game won't gain access to the other one until the 2022 release unless they subscribe to Xbox Game Pass for PC.

How much will the Minecraft PC Bundle cost?

Mojang is yet to announce Minecraft PC Bundle pricing for the standalone package. In the meantime, access will be granted via Xbox Game Pass through its PC membership from $10 monthly, or those with its $15 Xbox Game Pass Ultimate-tier subscription.
