  • I truly don't understand why Apple would choose to miss out on Xbox Cloud Gaming...
  • Because they want to create an Apple Cloud Game subscription for themselves....
  • Exactly why would they miss out on an additional revenue stream in their ecosystem.
  • It's all because they can't control all in-game purchases. And they want a cut from each.
  • I don't understand why it's launching without surface pro x support
  • They think that the use case with Android on the go is more important than streaming to get players on non-gaming hardware. They made a choice. They're doing both, of course, but they're aiming with this at the huge mobile users market. It's supposed to be growing and huge especially in Asia, and with kids who don't have a gaming computer. The important thing is that it has begun and it's already better than Stadia.
  • So the revolution begins. I hope it begins soon too for us in the rest of the countries. and on PC.
  • Yes very frustrating having a Game pass ultimate and a Note 20 Ultra and its not available in Australia
  • Just as I expected, it's basically just Game Pass games, that's irritating and significantly limits the usefulness for me. At least it isn't an extra charge though.
  • I think they are leaning on the console streaming for the other games. At least its a larger amount than on GP at the current moment.
  • Yeah, I use console streaming to play Slay the Spire and Warframe on the go which work OK (although Warframe is problematic), but the upload from my console is a bottleneck (since I live with four other people in their 20's-30's internet use is fairly high) so it'd be nice if one day I have access to all, but it is up to publishers to allow it, and I highly doubt that'll happen.
  • Yaaaas finally No Man’s Sky is getting added to Xcloud! Now if only I could play it on my iPad instead of a dinky old android phone.
  • Hook your phone to your monitor or tv and play that way. That is what I've done for years and it works great.
