What you need to know

  • Every month Microsoft adds new games to Xbox Game Pass.
  • Soon, titles like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and select Yakuza games will join the service.
  • Ashen and other smaller experiences are also leaving the service soon.
  • You can purchase Xbox Game Pass on Amazon.

Every month, a lot of new games enter Xbox Game Pass and many leave to make room for new experiences. At X019, Microsoft announced that select Yakuza games and other important titles like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt would be joining the service soon. However, today we learned that Ashen, Life Is Strange, Life Is Strange: Before the Storm, and PES 2019 will be leaving Xbox Game Pass soon, too.

Out of all of these, Ashen will be missed the most. It's a Dark Souls-like game, but offers more direction in the form of map markers and clear objectives. If you haven't played it yet, be sure to check it out. Since it's leaving Xbox Game Pass soon, maybe in the coming days, you'll probably want to purchase it at a discount.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate bundles Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass for PC, and Xbox Live Gold into one package. The monthly subscription fee goes up to $15 a month, but you gain access to over two hundred games instantaneously.
