Halo InfiniteSource: Microsoft

At the Xbox Games Showcase, Microsoft showed off the future of Xbox, especially for the upcoming Xbox Series X. More than just the games, though, was the potential of Xbox Game Pass to grow, with nearly every game showed off at the event planned for a launch on Xbox Game Pass day one.

There were some exceptions, though, so here's every game at the Xbox Games Showcase event that's coming to Xbox Game Pass:

Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite was the headliner for the Xbox Games Showcase, and will be an important launch title for the Xbox Series X. Even better, it's coming to Xbox Game Pass day one, along with every other first-party title from the Xbox Game Studios. Not enough information? Don't worry, we have the full scoop for Halo Infinite, so you can always stay on top.

Grounded

We already know quite a lot about Grounded, the passion project from a small team of talented developers at Obsidian Entertainment. The game shrinks players down to the size of insects and sets you loose in a vast and dangerous suburban backyard. Grounded is coming to Xbox Game Pass on July 28, 2020, as part of Game Preview.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light

This was a bit of a surprise announcement, but Destiny 2: Beyond Light is the next expansion for Destiny 2, and it also brings the game to Xbox Game Pass on launch day. Surprised? We were too, but it means more players than ever before will be able to try out Destiny 2 and all it has to offer.

Everwild

Rare is back with what looks to be another gorgeous, wonderful game in Everwild. We're not sure when this game is going to come out, but we can confirm it'll be on Xbox Game Pass when it does.

Tell Me Why

Tell Me Why is the newest title from Dontnod Entertainment that focuses on childhood trauma, and one of the main characters is a transgender man. This game aims to tackle a lot of very important subjects that are not usually touched in gaming, making it an incredibly exciting game. It'll be on Xbox Game Pass day one when the first chapter hits on Aug. 27.

Tell Me Why

Tell Me Why is the newest IP from Dontnod Entertainment, the team behind the Life is Strange series. It's another interactive adventure that'll touch upon serious topics with beautiful visuals.

As Dusk Falls

As Dusk Falls is an interactive drama from studio INTERIOR/NIGHT, published by Xbox Game Studios, that is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows 10. Yes, it's also coming to Xbox Game Pass day one. You can find more info about As Dusk Falls on the official Xbox page.

Psychonauts 2

Psychonauts 2 is a much-hyped game from Double Fine Productions, which brings back a franchise that has been dormant for over 15 years. Since Double Fine is now a part of Xbox Game Studios, Psychonauts 2 will also come to Xbox Game Pass as well as Xbox, Playstation, Windows, and more.

STALKER 2

STALKER 2 is the sequel a lot of people have been waiting for, and it's coming to Xbox Series X and Windows PC's sometime in the future. Oh, and it's going to launch into Xbox Game Pass, which bodes well for newcomers to the franchise as well as loyal veterans.

The Gunk

Like many other games in this list, we don't have a release date for the Gunk, but we do know that it's coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PCs. Players who are subscribed to Xbox Game Pass will also be able to play day one, with no additional wait or purchase necessary.

State of Decay 3

The State of Decay 3 reveal was far too short and didn't have a lot of information, but it did confirm that Undead Labs is working on the next generation zombie survival game for Xbox. And, because Undead Labs is a part of the Xbox Game Studios family, whenever State of Decay 3 launches, it'll be on Xbox Game Pass day one. Win-win. We'll keep you posted as we learn more about this important title.

Forza Motorsport

Another title that we know almost nothing about, Forza Motorsport looks to be a soft reboot of the Motorsport racing series slated for Xbox Series X sometime down the line. We know that it'll come to Xbox Game Pass day one, and that it should showcase all the power the Xbox Series X has to offer. We can't wait.

The Medium

The Medium is a next-gen psychological horror that introduces fresh new concepts to an aging genre of video games. This title will only be available to the Xbox Series X and Windows PCs, so the older Xbox One generation is left out, but it will be offered through Xbox Game Pass as well.

Avowed

We know almost nothing about Avowed, other than it's the next big RPG from industry legends Obsidian Entertainment, who recently joined the Xbox Game Studios family. Because Obsidian is a first-party studio, Avowed will come to Xbox Game Pass day one. What else do we know? Not much, really, but we're excited.

Fable

The final announcement at the Xbox Games Showcase was Fable, but it was hardly the least interesting. Fable is a legendary RPG franchise that was sadly shuttered some years ago, but developer Playground Games and Microsoft are bringing it back in a big way. We know it'll come to Xbox Series X, Windows PC's, and Xbox Game Pass, but beyond that and a short teaser, we know nothing else.

Tetris Effect: Connected

Tetris isn't going anywhere, and the latest iteration of this classic game is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PCs alongside the launch of Microsoft's next-gen gaming console. Tetris Effect: Connected will also be on Xbox Game Pass day one, and support important features like Smart Delivery, so all gamers win here.

Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age

Dragon Quest XI is coming to Xbox Game Pass for consoles day one, and is the first Dragon Quest title to make its way to Xbox, making the feat even more impressive. You can pre-order the title from the Microsoft Store, or wait for it to launch on Xbox Game Pass.

Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age
