Cyber Monday discounts on Xbox Series X physical games are here — save on all these titles that I've enjoyed across 2025

With Cyber Monday here, there are plenty of deals holding strong, including some discounts on physical games at Amazon.

Below, I've rounded up several games that launched earlier this year that I can also personally vouch for, having played and enjoyed all of them. If you have an Xbox Series X with a disc drive, then take advantage of these big discounts on physical games, from survival-horror titles like $20 off Silent Hill f, to the ever-expanding Monster Hunter Wilds for just $39.99.

Electronic Arts Battlefield 6
FPS action!
Save 15% ($10.54)
Electronic Arts Battlefield 6: was $69.99 now $59.45 at Amazon

Battlefield 6 brings the first-person shooter series back in full force. Devastating, large-scale battles pit NATO against the forces of Pax Armata, while players can team up across platforms thanks to cross-play. The game just launched in October, and you can already snag a small discount.

Skybound Games Frostpunk 2: Ice Breaker Edition
Survival in the snow
Save 40% ($20)
Skybound Games Frostpunk 2: Ice Breaker Edition: was $49.99 now $29.99 at Amazon

Frostpunk 2 technically launched in 2024, but the Xbox console version didn't arrive until 2025. Take charge of a massive city and survive the ice while shaping your city's path, and save some money while you're at it thanks to Cyber Monday.

Capcom Monster Hunter Wilds
The hunt is on
Save 43% ($30)
Capcom Monster Hunter Wilds: was $69.99 now $39.99 at Amazon

Monster Hunter Wilds has received numerous updates since it first launched, adding new hunts, ways for players to interact, and more. Grab it at a discount during Cyber Monday.

Silent Hill f
Horror awaits
Save 29% ($20.05)
Silent Hill f: was $69.99 now $49.94 at Amazon

Konami's Silent Hill franchise is back after years of dormancy, with Silent Hill f providing a full plunge into survival-horror. The melee-focused combat system takes some getting used to, but protagonist Hinako Shimizu earns her pipe-wielding place as an icon of the series.

A year of variety

Monster Hunter Wilds wasn't perfect at launch, but the developers at Capcom have kept with it, bringing new creatures to hunt through updates, such as one that added the water-dwelling Lagiacrus.

Silent Hill f, developed by NeoBards, is a bold take on the Silent Hill formula in many ways, while still serving as an excellent return to basics for puzzle-solving survival-horror.

Frostpunk 2 was already a great game on PC last year, and I've had a blast with the console version, which is ported quite well considering the game's daunting user interface was originally built for mouse and keyboard.

Battlefield 6 is easily the top shooter this year, with fierce squad-based battles on some gorgeous, well-designed maps. The game is also avoiding gaudy, out-of-place cosmetics, eschewing nonsense that's permeated many other shooters in favor of simple, realistic designs.

2025 has been a packed year with all sorts of different games, and these are just some of the titles I've enjoyed. All of these games are also officially discounted for Cyber Monday, so long as you don't mind grabbing physical discs for your Xbox Series X.

FAQ

What is Cyber Monday?

Cyber Monday is a period of sales for online shopping ostensibly created in reaction to the physical retail presence of Black Friday.

In practice, the two now blend together thoroughly, and Cyber Monday is essentially just a renamed continuation of Black Friday deals.

When is Cyber Monday 2025?

Officially, Cyber Monday kicks off on Dec. 1, 2025, as it's the Monday following Thanksgiving in the U.S.

In reality, many retailers like Amazon already have Cyber Monday deals live, many of which are just continuations of Black Friday deals.

Do you have to be a Prime Member for Cyber Monday?

No. While there are some deals that are exclusive to Prime Members, the vast majority of Cyber Monday deals are open to all shoppers.
