Multiplayer beat 'em up 'Gang Beasts' launches on Xbox

Party games remain popular on Xbox One despite the fact that the majority of gamers prefer "AAA" experiences like Call of Duty. Unfortunately, there aren't that many experiences to choose from on the Xbox Store, so whenever a new release comes along, it garners interest from many individuals.

Recently, Double Fine Presents and Boneleaf announced that its party game, Gang Beasts, is coming to Xbox One in January. Unfortunately, the game was delayed and it was unclear when it would be launching on the system. Gang Beasts is a strange experience which features surly gelatinous characters, brutal fight sequences, and absurdly hazardous environments. The title is already available on PlayStation 4, Windows, Mac, Linux, and the Oculus Rift headset.

Luckily, that day has arrived and Gang Beasts is now available on the Microsoft Store for $16. The $16 price is only applicable for the next week, after which it'll jump up to $20. To mark the Xbox One release, the developer said, "It's almost the new year and all you Xbox One players better get ready to ruuuumble because... multiplayer beat 'em up game Gang Beasts will be launching for Xbox One... PC and PlayStation 4 versions will also receive updates to enhance gameplay."

I personally can't wait to play Gang Beasts on Xbox One! I've heard so much about it. What about you? Do you like to play party games on Xbox One when friends visit?
