Players will get to see more of Resident Evil Village fairly soon. In a press release, Capcom confirmed that a new Resident Evil Village digital showcase will be held in April. New game details will be revealed at this event, though there's nothing specific given beyond that or confirmation of the exact day this showcase will be shown.

Right now, a Maiden technical demo is available exclusively on the PS5, though Capcom has stated that a second demo will be available on all platforms before the game arrives, so Xbox and PC players shouldn't be left out for too much longer.

Resident Evil Village is the direct sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, with protagonist Ethan Winters returning in search of questions, following Chris Redfield to a mysterious European village and Castle Dimitrescu, home of the now-iconic Tall Vampire Lady.

Several different editions of Resident Evil Village are currently available for preorder and the game is set to be released on May 7, 2021. It'll be available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC, PS5, PS4 and Stadia. If you buy the Xbox One or PS4 version, you'll get a free upgrade at no cost to the corresponding Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S or PS5 edition of the game.
