Unless you have been living under a rock, you will have heard of ARC Raiders, a new IP that has managed to maintain 91% of its peak player count on Steam after releasing in late 2025.

That does not mean it has kept all of its players, but it has sold enough copies to keep its active population relatively high.

12.4 million units sold and 960,000 concurrent across all platforms

Over 12 million copies sold for a new IP is genuinely impressive, and it shows that ARC Raiders is likely here to stay. The game has also hit 960,000 concurrent players across all platforms, including Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.

On Xbox alone, it still sits in the top 15 most played games in the US, ahead of Battlefield 6 and Helldivers 2.

ARC Raiders is maintaining a healthy player base well after launch. Its next big update isn’t known yet, but the Cold Snap update does end soon so we won’t have to wait long to find out.

As a thank you for passing 12 million players, Embark is awarding a Gilded Pickaxe Raider Tool to anyone who logged in between launch and 23:59 CET on January 13, which is 22:59 GMT, 17:59 ET, and 14:59 PT. The item will be automatically granted when today’s update rolls out and can be obtained from the players inbox.
