How to watch The Game Awards 2025
The Game Awards 2025 is set to begin on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. PT / 7:30 p.m. ET. The first half hour will be the pre-show, which will consist of a couple of awards and some smaller reveals, while the main show begins at 5:00 p.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. ET.
The main show can vary in length, but traditionally runs for about two and a half hours, meaning you should be prepared for a roughly three-hour show as a whole. The awards are fairly spaced out, with large chunks of time devoted to game trailers or reveals alongside musical performances, while Game of the Year is always the last award given before the night ends.
You can watch the awards through the YouTube stream linked above, which is airing in 4K 60FPS. Alternatively, you can also watch through many other streaming services, including Twitch, Steam, and, for the first time, Prime Video.
In our experience, Twitch generally offers the fastest stream, while YouTube offers the best image quality but can sometimes lag a couple of seconds behind. Generally, every other streaming service falls somewhere in the middle of these two options, so you'll have to choose what aspect is most important for you when watching the show.
