Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail (July 2, 2024)
Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail is the fifth expansion to Square Enix's long-running MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. After saving the world from The Final Days, the Warrior of Light and their compatriots, the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, embark on a journey to a continent known as "The New World."
This new expansion will take players on a more light-hearted adventure compared to FFXIV: Endwalker, where they will explore new lands, participate in a contest of champions, and perhaps discover the fabled lost city of gold.
Frostpunk 2 (July 25, 2024)
Frostpunk 2 is a highly anticipated follow-up to Frostpunk, a smash-hit survival-strategy game where you are in charge of a city that's struggling to survive amid a harsh eternal winter. Supplies are running scarce and tensions among the people are high so it is your job to make sure your town endures the ongoing storm by any means necessary.
Star Wars Outlaws (August 30, 2024)
Star Wars Outlaws an open-world Stars Wars being made in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games Ltd. and Ubisoft. You play as Kay Vess, a petty scoundrel struggling to get by in life. One day, she decides she's had enough of her lifestyle and takes off on a journey across the galaxy along with her friend Nix to start a new life.
Unknown 9: Awakening (Summer 2024)
Unknown 9: Awakening is a third-person adventure game where you play as Haroona, a woman gifted with the unnatural power to travel into an alternate dimension called the Fold. Your goal in this game is to explore the Fold to uncover its origins and its connection to you while fending off a secret organization called the Ascendants who plan to use Fold to rewrite history in their image.
Visions of Mana (Summer 2024)
Visions of Mana is the latest entry in Square Enix's Legend of Mana franchise and the first new title in the series since 2007's Heroes of Mana on the Nintendo DS. Take control of the young hero Val and travel across a vibrant and colorful realm to find the Tree of Mana, a legendary tree that provides life to the world.
Prison Architect 2 (September 3, 2024)
Prison Architect 2 is a prison management simulator developed by Double Eleven and published by Paradox Interactive. You play as the head of a prison and your job is to rehabilitate the worst criminals on Earth and prevent them from escaping.
This game will feature the same management gameplay of the original Prison Architect but now refined with new mechanics, a new 3D art style, and more devious criminals that will use every trick in the book to break out of prison.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl (September 5, 2024)
In this post-apocalyptic open-world FPS game, players take on the role of a S.T.A.L.K.E.R (Scavengers, Trespassers, Adventurers, Loners, Killers, Explorers and Robbers), who has entered the huge Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. Here there are powerful items to acquire, dangerous mutants to fight off, and warring factions to be warry of.
One of the things that makes STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl so compelling is that the decisions you make throughout the course of the story affect what happens. You can also explore in any way you see fit as this is a nonlinear adventure. STALKER 2 is expected to launch by December 2023.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 (September 9, 2024)
Warhammer fans and those who love a good hack-n-slash are eagerly looking forward to the release of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. This is a third-person shooter that centers on taking down Tyranid hordes while playing as a brutal Space Marine. You'll be sent off to various planets with different missions to accomplish.
In addition to guns, players have access to various weapons which they can use to mutilate dangerous enemies in quick succession. Work to acquire new items, level up, and save mankind from imminent doom. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 releases some time in 2023.
Metaphor: ReFantazio (October 11, 2024)
Metaphor: ReFantazio is a brand new IP from Atlus and it is their first, purely fantasy-themed JRPG, developed by the core team behind the Persona series.
The United Kingdom of Euchronia has fallen into disarray as its king has been murdered in cold blood by an assassin. Soon afterward, a powerful magic spell called Royal Magic was conjured and embroiled the world in a grand tournament where the winner would claim the throne of Euchronia.
You play as the bodyguard and childhood friend of Euchronia's prince, who is suffering from a curse and has been presumed dead after a tragic event. Your goal is to lift the prince's curse and gather an army of allies to help the prince win the tournament so he can restore peace to Euchronia.
