Orks take to the skies in Deffkopters for Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks

Next up, we have a new vehicle to ride in in the chaotic, Orky demolition derby racing game, Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks.

That vehicle is the Deffkopter, a crude yet deadly aircraft that rains hails of rokkits upon enemies while remaining safe from ground-based attacks (provided the enemy doesn't have anti-aircraft guns).

This free update is available to download right now for Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks on Steam.

What a treat Warhammer fans are having this Halloween

I can't wait to scream and bloodily murder Chaos scum as a Sister of Battle. (Image credit: Big Fan Games, Devolver Digital)

And there you have every Warhammer video game announcement for Warhammer Day.

Out of these announcements, my favorites are Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 getting a playable Sister of Battle and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader's 1.5 Update.

I loved the original Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, and the sequel's looking even crazier now that we can play as a Sister of Battle, as they're one of the Imperium of Man's crazier factions for how pyromanical they are when it comes to slaying heretics.

As for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, this update is insane, particularly for the Character Origin reworks to the Astra Militarum Commander, Ministorum Priest, Commissar, and Navy Officer Origins.

They are now way more powerful and interesting to play as compared to how they were at the game's launch.

The Commissar is the wildest character rework out of all of them, as they can now grant buffs to teammates by shooting them for insubordination or not fighting hard enough, which is very lore-accurate to how Commissars in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.

I can't wait to explore the rest of this update's content before Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader's 3rd DLC expansion arrives, and purge heretical Chaos cultists and Daemons when Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 launches in 2026.
