Microsoft's buffet-style gaming subscription service Xbox Game Pass is constantly evolving with new additions each month, and now we've gotten a look at everything coming in April thanks to a new announcement from the publisher. Notably, one of the biggest and most popular Call of Duty games is arriving on Game Pass soon, as are some other very high-profile titles.
The Call of Duty release in question is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), a reboot of the original blockbuster Modern Warfare game released in 2007 and the predecessor to 2022's Modern Warfare 2 and 2023's Modern Warfare 3. Many view it as one of the last Call of Duty titles that had a truly great campaign, and its multiplayer — while a bit controversial due to the slower pace of its gameplay — has plenty of passionate fans, too.
Modern Warfare is actually surging right now thanks to an incredibly steep Steam sale, and its imminent arrival on Xbox Game Pass will most likely give the shooter even more momentum. It's the latest of several Call of Duty games to hit the service after Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard in late 2023; specifically, it's coming to Xbox consoles, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming on April 17 across Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass.
Article continues belowWhile Modern Warfare is arguably the biggest addition to Game Pass coming this month, there are several other noteworthy drops scheduled for April as well. Everything coming to the service in the coming days and weeks has been listed below:

Beyond Modern Warfare, the arrival of Supergiant Games' acclaimed roguelite action game Hades 2 is a huge Game Pass pickup, especially since that game just left Early Access late last year. Titles like Warhammer Vermintide 2, Planet Coaster 2, and The Thaumaturge are quite significant too, as is the Vampire Survivors spinoff Vampire Crawlers and the popular hardcore open-world survival game DayZ.
Also worth highlighting is the expansion of availability for Oblivion Remastered, the remaster of the beloved The Elder Scrolls title that released last year. It's only been playable through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass until now, but it will soon be available on Xbox and PC with Game Pass Premium as well.
Last but not least is Kiln, the unique pottery-themed multiplayer brawler from Double Fine that Microsoft spotlighted earlier this year during the Xbox Developer Direct 2026. If you're after an action-packed party game, keep your eye on this one for sure.
