List of all Halo: MCC Season 5 Season Pass rewards and tiers

Recently, Halo developer 343 Industries launched Season 5 of Halo: The Master Chief Collection (MCC). There are over 100 new items to earn in the new season pass (which is free!), including armors, weapon skins, and player profile nameplates. These are obtained by unlocking tiers in the season pass with season points, which you can earn by playing matches and completing challenges to rank up. Additionally, there are also a handful of unique items that can only be earned by completing special gameplay challenges or by logging in at a specific time.

Here's a look at everything on offer for Season 5 of Halo: MCC, including all of the season pass rewards as well as the unique ones outside of the season pass.

Halo: MCC Season 5 rewards: Challenge rewards

In addition to the standard season pass rewards, there are also a handful of unique items that players can unlock by completing unique gameplay challenges. Unlike the normal season pass rewards that can be unlocked at a later date, these items must be earned during Season 5 itself. Here's what those challenges are, as well as what each one unlocks.

• Because You Begged: Perform an Assassination against an Elite to survive a fall that would've been fatal in the Halo: Reach campaign. Completing this challenge unlocks the Mister Chief Mariner Helmet for Halo: Reach (visible above) and 77,000 experience towards your season pass progression.
• Combo Maker: Complete the "Guilty Shot" and "Who, What, Win" challenges. "Guilty Shot" requires you to get 343 headshot medals with the Battle Rifle in matchmade games, and "Who, What, Win" requires you to win 25 ranked matchmade games. Beating both of these these challenges will complete the "Combo Maker" challenge and unlock the Lucky Shot Battle Rifle Skin in Halo 3 (visible above) as well as 77,000 experience.

• Release the Geese: Complete the Halo 3 mission "Halo" on Legendary with all players in Mongeese at the end of the mission. Finishing this challenge unlocks the Hazard Pay Mongoose Skin (visible at the top of this article) and 77,000 experience.
• Strong in the Week: Complete 30 weekly challenges. Upon completion of this challenge, you'll get the Quickdraw Nameplate for your profile (shown above) and 200,000 experience.

Halo: MCC Season 5 rewards: Timed rewards

Lastly, there are two rewards that all players can obtain easily by logging onto the MCC during specific time periods. Here's what they are:

• Black History Month Nameplate: This nameplate (see above) is given to all players that log onto the MCC during Black History Month, which is February 2021.

• Wiomen's History Month Nameplate: This nameplate (shown above) is given to all players that log onto the MCC during Women's History Month, which is March 2021.
