What you need to know

  • Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft's Netflix-like gaming subscription, with a huge selection of games for players to choose from.
  • The service continues to grow larger, adding new games every single month, as well as a few departures.
  • Xbox just announced the games coming and leaving in the second half of October, 2020 to Xbox Game Pass for consoles and PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
  • Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition is coming to PC, and is the biggest entry this time around.

We're already nearly halfway through the spooky month of October, which means taking advantage of the best Xbox Prime Day deals around, but it also means Xbox is sharing all the games coming and going from Xbox Game Pass through the rest of October. If you're subscribed to Xbox Game Pass (and you should be), we have all the games you can look forward to on console, Xbox Game Pass for PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming for the rest of the month. Don't forget that EA Play is also coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on November 10, alongside the new Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

The line-up this time around includes the launch of anticipated games like Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition and Katana Zero.

Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition (PC) - October 15
