Sleek Xbox One 'Phantom White' controller surfaces online

Microsoft is seemingly set to reveal a new Xbox One controller design this week, expanding its ever-growing lineup of special edition Xbox accessories. Following August's Phantom Black debut, a new white variant is poised for stores, as leaked via an Amazon Mexico product listing.

The alleged Phantom White controller has a familiar finish to its black predecessor, sporting a semi-translucent body transitioning into pure white. Paired with all-white buttons and gray thumbsticks, it's a sleek, minimal controller that's equally eye-catching. First picked up at ResetEra, this new design is expected to debut on the Inside Xbox live show on March 12.

Below is a glimpse at Microsoft's official product renders, lifted from the Amazon store page.

As with Microsoft's recent Xbox controllers, the Phantom White design will ship with Bluetooth support, a 3.5mm audio jack, alongside other commonplace features. While availability and pricing are yet to be confirmed, we expect preorders on March 12, priced at $69.99.

Microsoft's Inside Xbox March showcase is shaping up strong, backed by rumors of significant announcements. Halo: The Master Chief Collection's PC debut is rumored, alongside news on Age of Empires, Xbox Game Pass, and State of Decay 2.
