Additionally, the Nintendo Switch 2 will receive the Resident Evil Generation Pack in 2026, which bundles together Resident Evil 7: biohazard Gold Edition, Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, and Resident Evil: Requiem.

Are you ready to return to Racoon City for its requiem?

If my colleague, Jez Corden's preview of Resident Evil: Requiem is anything to go by, this game is shaping up to be Resident's darkest entry yet, both figuratively and literally.

It has a somber yet horrifying setting as we're returning to Raccoon City decades after it was blown to ruins at the end of Resident Evil 3, and the nightmarish monsters you will encounter will require the use of lights to drive them away, as bullets will not save you this time.

I enjoyed my fair share of Resident Evil games over the years (my favorite being the Resident Evil HD Remaster), so I can't wait to see new horrors await us when Resident Evil: Requiem launches on February 27, 2026.
