- It's an EA Originals title.
- A new gameplay trailer shows some of the different mechanics players will use, like reversing time.
First revealed at the EA Play Live 2020 showcase, It Takes Two is an upcoming EA Originals title being developed by Hazelight, the team behind A Way Out. Today, EA released a new gameplay trailer for the title that's narrated by the game's director, Josef Fares, a man known for his passionate way of speaking, especially about The Oscars.
In the new gameplay trailer, players get to see how mechanics like time reversal or cloning work. You can see the gameplay trailer below:
Much like A Way Out, It Takes Two must be played in co-op, there's no singleplayer option. If one player buys the game, a friend can download and play with them at no extra cost, again borrowing a mechanic introduced with A Way Out.
It Takes Two supports Smart Delivery, meaning if you buy the game once you'll automatically get the best version, whether you're playing on Xbox One, Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X. It Takes Two is currently scheduled to release on March 26, 2021, for Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PC, PS4 and PS5.
