Psychonauts 2 is an upcoming platforming game from Double Fine Productions. It was in development before the team was acquired by Xbox Game Studios so it's coming to Xbox One and a variety of other platforms. As expected, you'll have to pay for it on other devices, but it'll be part of the Xbox Game Pass subscription service.

Recently, Hollywood actor Jack Black launched his own YouTube channel focusing on games. Today, he was able to preview Psychonauts 2. Through this, we got a detailed look at the mind-bending gameplay filled with platforming and other challenges. You can take a look at the hilarious and insightful video below.

It's unclear when Psychonauts 2 will launch, but it's probably going to be towards the beginning of 2021. Hopefully, Double Fine or Microsoft will provide a concrete release date. It'll also be interesting to see if the team at Double Fine is working on another game that's exclusive to Microsoft's platforms.

  • Didn't play the first game but will definitely give this one a try. I'm a bit hit or miss on Double Fine games, the last one I really enjoyed was Brutal Legend but they always put out original type games that no one else is really doing in the console world so I like to support them.
