Halo 3: ODST has been in testing through various flights over the last month and now, 343 Industries announced that Halo 3: ODST launches for PC on September 22 as part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Fittingly enough, this is the exact same day that Halo 3: ODST first launch on Xbox 360 back in 2009.
With Halo Infinite now delayed into 2021, this is the perfect time for PC gamers to catch up on the series. With Halo 3: ODST soon to be released, the last remaining game in Halo: The Master Chief Collection that hasn't come to PC is Halo 4. If you're interested in taking part in the flighting tests for that game or any other upcoming tests, be sure to sign up for the Halo Insider Program.
There's still more coming to both the PC and Xbox One versions of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, as 343 Industries has confirmed that cross-play should begin testing soon, while many new cosmetic customization options are coming to Halo 2: Anniversary.
